What time do Apple Stores in Hong Kong restock? Over 5 straight days of checks by our stock radar, the 6 stores released same-day pickup stock of iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max between 7 and 9 AM every morning. By noon about 40% of it was gone, and by the evening nearly all of it.
Summary
- Restock time: every morning. Canton Road at about 7:00–7:15, Causeway Bay and Festival Walk at about 7:30–8:00, apm and New Town Plaza at about 8:00–8:30, ifc mall at about 8:00–9:30 (Hong Kong time).
- Easiest to get: iPhone 18 Pro in Silver and Glacier Blue, and every 2TB model.
- Hardest to get: iPhone 18 Pro Max 256GB and 512GB, usually gone within half an hour of a restock.

Where the data comes from
Since 29 September 2026 our Apple Store stock radar has checked the pickup status at every Apple Store in Hong Kong once every 30 minutes, covering all 32 models of iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max (4 storage sizes × 4 colours × 2 phones). The checks use the part numbers from Apple's Hong Kong site, which end in ZA/A; iPhone 18 Pro 256GB in Glacier Blue, for example, is MJRT4ZA/A.
This article uses the records from Tuesday 29 September to the morning of Saturday 3 October: 1,594 successful checks across the 6 stores. All times are Hong Kong time. A few notes:
- We record only the store, the model, the time and whether it could be picked up. No visitor information is recorded.
- Each store is checked only once every 30 minutes, so the times below mean “first seen in stock at this time”. The stock may have appeared up to half an hour earlier.
- It is only 5 days, and 1 October was the National Day holiday. Whether the pattern holds over a longer period needs more observation.
- “Available” means Apple's site shows pickup for today or tomorrow (“備妥於:今日” or “備妥於:明天” on the Chinese site). Whether there is stock is decided only when you place the order on Apple's site.
Pattern 1: every Hong Kong store restocks between 7 and 9 AM
On every one of the 5 days, every store restocked in the morning, without exception. The table shows the earliest time new stock was seen at each store each day; the number in brackets is how many models newly appeared that morning.
| Store | Tue 29 Sep | Wed 30 Sep | Thu 1 Oct | Fri 2 Oct | Sat 3 Oct |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Canton Road (Tsim Sha Tsui) | 07:50 (15) | 07:50 (18) | 07:11 (18) | 07:09 (21) | 07:14 (19) |
| Causeway Bay (Hysan Place) | 08:19 (14) | 08:00 (15) | 07:39 (10) | 07:44 (21) | 07:51 (20) |
| Festival Walk (Kowloon Tong) | 10:40 (7) | 08:40 (8) | 07:40 (12) | 07:40 (21) | 07:41 (13) |
| apm (Kwun Tong) | 10:41 (9) | 08:40 (9) | 08:11 (11) | 08:31 (16) | 08:11 (14) |
| New Town Plaza (Sha Tin) | 11:20 (8) | 08:21 (8) | 08:34 (6) | 08:10 (18) | 08:14 (12) |
| ifc mall (Central) | 11:00 (7) | 08:30 (7) | 09:00 (8) | 09:25 (15) | 07:54 (17) |
29 September was the first day of recording, and several checks that morning were rate-limited by Apple, so that day's times are late and do not mean the stock arrived late. Looking at the other 4 days:
- Canton Road is the earliest, consistently just after 7.
- Causeway Bay and Festival Walk fall between 7:30 and 8.
- apm and New Town Plaza fall between 8 and 8:30.
- ifc mall is the least regular, anywhere from 7:54 to 9:25.
All of these times are before the stores open. The stock is put on the website before opening, so you order online first and then collect in store.
Pattern 2: stock peaks at 10 AM and falls for the rest of the day
Averaged over the 6 stores, this is how many of the 32 models a store had available at once through the day:
| Time | 07:00 | 08:00 | 09:00 | 10:00 | 12:00 | 15:00 | 18:00 | 21:00 | Overnight |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Average models available | 1.5 | 4.7 | 7.4 | 8.4 | 6.9 | 4.7 | 2.8 | 1.9 | about 1 |
Next, how long the morning stock lasts. From 29 September to 2 October we recorded 302 morning restocks. Of those:
- 57% were still in stock at noon;
- 33% were still in stock at 3 PM;
- 20% were still in stock at 6 PM;
- 15% were still in stock at 9 PM.
There is almost no new stock in batches in the afternoon or evening. One or two models occasionally reappear, most likely returned after someone cancelled an order.
Pattern 3: which models are easy, which are nearly impossible
The tables below combine the 6 stores. “Restocks” is how many times the model was restocked out of 30 chances (5 mornings × 6 stores); “Time in stock” is the share of the 5 days the model showed as available; “Lasts” is the median time from a restock until it was gone again.

| 256GB | Silver | 12 | 1% | about 10 min |
| 256GB | Glacier Blue | 3 | under 1% | a few minutes |
| 256GB | Burgundy Wine | 1 | under 1% | a few minutes |

| 2TB | Glacier Blue | 21 | 12% | about 4 h |
| 2TB | Black | 11 | 7% | about 3.5 h |
A few things stand out:
- iPhone 18 Pro is far easier to buy than Pro Max. The Pro in Silver and Glacier Blue is restocked at nearly every store nearly every day, and stays for hours.
- Pro Max 256GB and 512GB sell out almost at once. The 512GB in Silver and Glacier Blue is restocked fairly often (18 and 17 times out of 30) but is usually gone in 20 to 30 minutes. The 256GB in Black did not appear once at any of the 6 stores in 5 days.
- Black and Burgundy Wine are the tightest. On either phone, these two colours from 256GB to 1TB are rarely restocked and do not last when they are.
- 2TB is the easiest to get. It costs the most and fewer people buy it; the Pro 2TB in Black was available 40% of the time.
How to use the pattern
- If you want a Pro Max 256GB or 512GB: open the stock radar before 7 AM, choose Hong Kong, start with Canton Road (it restocks first), tick the models you want, and turn on the one-minute auto-refresh and the sound alert. After 7:30 look at Causeway Bay and Festival Walk, and after 8 at apm and New Town Plaza. When something shows as available, tap the card straight away to go to Apple's site and order; these models rarely last half an hour.
- If you want a Pro in Silver or Glacier Blue: no need to rush. Check between 9 AM and noon and most stores will have it.
- If you are only free in the afternoon: after 3 PM only a third of the morning stock is left, mostly 2TB models and the Pro 256GB in Silver. For anything else, waiting for the next morning is more realistic.
- If any store will do: the 6 stores restock more than an hour apart, so if you miss one you can move on to the next.
The radar's auto-refresh checks about once a minute and pauses when the page is in the background or the screen is locked, so keep the page in front while you wait. Checking too often gets rate-limited; do not open many tabs at once.
FAQ
Which Apple Store in Hong Kong restocks the most?
By the number of restocks recorded over the 5 days, Canton Road had the most (91), followed by Causeway Bay (80). Festival Walk, apm, New Town Plaza and ifc mall were between 54 and 61. Canton Road is also the first to restock each morning.
Why just after 7 AM rather than at opening time?
Apple has not said. The records show the stock is put on the website before the stores open, at a different time for each store. We can confirm what happens, not why.
Is there a difference between weekdays and weekends?
There are only 5 days so far, including the National Day holiday and one Saturday morning, and the times showed no difference. More models were restocked on 2 and 3 October than on the first three days (12 to 21 per store, against 6 to 18), but it is not yet clear whether more stock arrived or the holiday played a part.
The radar showed stock, but it was gone when I tried to order. Why?
Popular models are taken within minutes. The radar shows the result at the moment of the check; you only have the phone once the order goes through on Apple's site.
Is it the same in Malaysia?
No. Malaysia has only one Apple Store, and its restocks do not follow a fixed time like this. See Apple The Exchange TRX restock times and the pickup guide. Whether it is worth travelling from Malaysia to buy in Hong Kong is covered in the price, model and warranty comparison.
To compare Hong Kong prices with other regions, use the iPhone price comparison; detailed specs for each model are in the specs library.
